Mythic Imagination Institute has begun an education group. In time, we hope to provide teachers, curriculum, and experiences for children, and young people.

Our raison d'etre is to bring pleasure and passion and a sense of confidence in the processes of life, by connecting young people to the stories of the world.

We hope to train them in the language of metaphor, so that what they see around them becomes multi-dimensional and full of possibility. We hope to help educate the heart so that nothing human is foreign to me; establishing a life-long capacity for empathy.

It is also our goal to help people see their own lives as a story, and to become ever more articulate and poetic in telling that story. Teachers will be an integral part of attaining that goal. To that end, we are dedicating many of our resources to the Mythic Journeys '06 Education Conference on Friday, June 9th, including a discounted rate for the first 250 educators who register.
