The Defoor Centre Gallery

Atlanta, Georgia

Cover for the exhibit's 48 page full-color catalogue with text by Ari Berk

In addition to presentations and workshops led by leading artists using myth, Mythic Journeys will sponsor a major museum-quality art exhibition at Atlanta's prestigious Defoor Centre Gallery. The exhibition is free and open to all, so please make plans to visit!

The exhibition will open a few weeks before the Mythic Journeys conference. However, we'll arrange shuttle service during the conference so that you'll have ample opportunities to experience it.

The exhibition is coordinated by artist Charles Vess and Karen Shaffer, and features works by conference attendees like Alan Lee and Brian and Wendy Froud, and other leading artists inspired by mythic themes. Now complete with over 100 paintings, illustrations, sculptures, prints and photographs showcasing varied cultural traditions of myth, story and ritual, the exhibit taps into a universal language that enriches each of our own "hero's journeys."

For the latest information on the exhibition, receptions, artists, and spotlights on the art, please go to the updated Spring edition of Passages.

Ancient Spirit, Modern Voice will be an amazing experience.
Don't miss it.
